Finance and strategy teams jump between multiple websites and PDFs to interpret dense SEC filings, and answers often get lost in private DMs or one‑off documents. There is no central, conversational space where everyone in the workspace can ask and see the same, verified questions and answers about recent 10‑K, 10‑Q, and 8‑K filings.
Implemented a Slack app that routes channel questions to the Perplexity API configured to focus on the latest public SEC filings, returning structured summaries and specific data points.Configured the agent to reply in a shared Slack channel (or thread), so all teammates can view, search, and reuse prior Q&A about filings instead of repeating the same research.

Reduced time spent digging through filings by turning SEC research into a single, collaborative Slack conversation, improving the speed and consistency of financial insights across the team.Improved transparency and knowledge sharing: everyone can see how questions were answered, follow links back to the original documents, and build on previous analyses instead of working in silos.
